Carrot & Lentil Puree

Ingredients:
1 cup of dry lentils
3 medium size carrots
3 cups of water or homemade broth
A little thyme and parsley (optional)

Instructions:
1.Wash & chop carrots
2.Steam for 5-7 minutes to soften them up
3.Set aside
4.Wash & dry lentils
5.Bring your 3 cups of water to a boil
*Add your spices
6.Add lentils & lower the heat
7.Let the water simmer for 15-20 minutes
8.Serve
9.Place remaining portions in your @kiddoFeedo tray

*To defrost, pop cubes out and leave in fridge overnight. You can heat it up on the stove or in a food steamer.
