Smoothie: Banana, Kiwi & Orange Pepper

1 kiwi
1 banana (I used 3/4 of a large banana)
1/4 orange bell pepper

Blend with water to get desired consistency

Also tastes great with soy “milk”
For babies as a puree, mix with breastmilk to get desired consistency

**Reusable pouches in photo can be ordered here.

My baby is 10 months old And doesnt hold sippie cup how can I feed him a smothie ? Y tried on his formula bottle but he didn’t want it didn’t work with a spoon either 😞 do you have any tips ? Can I give him almond milk ? Even though he is 10 months ? Thank you I love all your Instagram posts..

    • Nutritionists say to wait until at least a year. Our boys had it in their smoothies from about 9 or 10 months. You can’t use it to replace breastmilk or formula. If you add it as an ingredient to a smoothie, test a bit for allergies first because nuts are high on the list of allergens. If baby doesn’t want it from a bottle, cup or spoon, maybe they’re just not ready, don’t like the temperature/texture or are ready for finger food. Lots of possible reasons.Ours refused all purees by a certain age and that’s when I realized he wanted to pick food up himself. Try changing any of those things or maybe just use breastmilk/formula instead of the almond milk in the recipes. Thank you for your comment about Instagram. So nice of you. I hope my reply & suggestions here help. Don’t give up! It can take babies up to 10 tries for them to warm up to something new πŸ™‚ xoxo
