Surprise From (Great) Grandma

My grandmother usually sends candy and snacks for us that aren’t too healthy. Since I’m trying to set a good example (and eating less junk food overall), I had asked her to send vegetables instead. She doesn’t eat many veggies, nor does she know much about them, BUT she associates veggies with the color green. So she bought a bunch of greens, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s so adorable!

There are some items here that I haven’t cooked with before, like Bok Choy and Kale (smoothies and kale chips only). BUT I have to keep reminding myself that eating does NOT have to be complicated. Smoothies and raw meals rule when it comes to fruits and veggies, which is absolutely perfect. So expect to see loads of salads on my personal IG page, and some yummy smoothies that I will be preparing for the boys.
